Recycling.
Recycling is a responsible activity which is being taken very seriously by vehicle manufacturers in more the more civilized and developed parts of the world. In the future, salvage and recycling will become increasingly more important here as well. It is likely that vehicle dismantlers in the near future will be the first people in the chain of reusing every part of a vehicle. The resale of salvaged panels for accident repair may not be our biggest business in the future. Seperating and compacting materials may become our prime source of income. Wide awake vehicle recyclers should start thinking about this concept now.
The following article demonstrates Renaults European attitude to the subject.

Anticipating accidents.
We are all acutely aware of the developments in vehicle technology that have made cars safer and are reducing the number of accidents per kilometer driven. The future of our industry will be influenced by further devices that reduce the amount of available stock and the demand for repair parts. (More reason to start considering other ways to recycle vehicle parts).
Consider these recent developments that are only the next step in the program to improve vehicle safety.
