Disposal of inactivated Airbags

Airbag Disposal

As a result of enquiries made by APIA, we have received confirmation of the procedure to dispose of Air Bags, Seatbelt Pretensioners and other pyrotechnics.

Simply contact the appropriate person at the New Zealand Defense Forces (shown below) for your area and arrange for them to collect the material.
They will remove it to the military area and destroy it along with ammunition.
