- · Agree to uphold the integrity and professionalism of the Parts Industry.
- · Agree to act responsibly towards the welfare, health and safety of their organisation and to carry out business practices that impact favourably on their customers and the community in general.
- · Agree to carry out their business activities in such a way as to promote the industry and portray a professional image in the community.
- · Agree to manage their businesses responsibly to the best of their ability within the requirements of the Resource Management and Environmental Regulations of New Zealand.
- · Agree to make every endeavor to procure stock that is fit for industry purpose and that complies with the vehicle standards required by New Zealand law.
- · Agree to supply parts that are, to the best of their knowledge, within the operating limits of the manufacturers recommended standards and will not compromise the safety performance of the vehicle for which they are designed.
- · Agree to pursue high standards and make every effort to act in a professional, responsible manner in respect of New Zealand Consumer Laws and not to bring the industry into disrepute through business practices that are contrary to the best interests of their customers.
- · Agree to trade only in stock that is, to the best of their knowledge, obtained legally and without distress to others in New Zealand or abroad, and where possible, to abstain from any activity that is likely to bring their business or the industry into disrespect.
- · Agree to promote professional integrity and ethics in all their dealings with repairers, insurers and vehicle owners.
- · Agree to build their professional reputation on merit and compete fairly where competition is appropriate.
- · Agree to actively promote universal understanding, goodwill and cooperation among others in the industry and in the community.
